Carol Hillman is a member of The Professional Advisory Board of The Child Development Institute of Sarah Lawrence College, Co-Chair of The Westchester Bank Street Alumni Group, Vice-President of The Teacher’s Loft, and works on line with early childhood students at Texas State University.  Formerly Carol served on The Board of Trustees of Bank Street College, and The Deans Leadership Council of Bank Street College of Education.  For twenty years Carol was the lead teacher of four-year-olds at The Nursery School at The Westchester Ethical Society in White Plains, NY.  Her publications include: Before The School Bell Rings, Mentoring Early Childhood Educators, Teaching Four-Year-Olds: A Personal Journey, and numerous articles on early childhood education in Parent and Preschooler and Exchange Magazine.

Carol is also involved in agriculture, having restored two one hundred year old orchards in western Massachusetts, as well as manufacturing cider and solar-cooked strawberry, raspberry and blueberry preserves.
